We are a fully insured and qualified BPCA member based in rural North Bucks and have been awarded the RSPH Level 2 award in pest management.
We are passionate about protecting the environment, and are committed to following a strict code of best practice when using rodenticide following the Campaign for Responsible Rodenticide Use (CRRU).
We are registered with Natural England and hold a CL02 Class licence permitting the trapping and humane despatching of Glis-glis.
We embrace the system of Integrated Pest Control Management (IPM), a system that focuses on the long-term prevention of pests through a combination of techniques, such as humane kill traps, habitat manipulation and modification of cultural practices.
Rodenticide is sometimes the best solution to a problem and has its place within IPM; however, used alone it can often only offer a 'quick fix' solution which can lead to a re-infestation occurring soon after.
We care about wildlife and are committed to ensuring that our solutions do not impact on the environment and surrounding habitats of non-target species.
The threat to our indigenous wildlife from Rodenticide and Pesticide usage in the form of secondary poisoning is a continuing issue.
Put simply, toxic bait that is not used responsibly leads to rodents becoming resistant to the active ingredients, and wildlife that predates on the poisoned rodents (e.g. Red Kites, Barn Owls and Kestrels) are exposed to lethal and sub lethal doses of poisons.
This situation is not acceptable and we embrace the new industry-wide codes of practice around the safe use of pesticides and rodenticide.
